Summer weekend layover at the yard.

A DE30 powers a service from far eastern Long Island through Floral Park. The DE30AC is a dual mode locomotive allowing services beyond the 3rd rail territory or using 3rd rail in the tunnel.

Running a few minutes late, LIRR Speonk-bound train 8732 passes under Montauk Highway, and with a horn salute from the crew, the train makes it's way to it's next station, Oakdale.

The class unit is seen minutes from its final destination at Port Jefferson Station. It is passing the former west yard that was closed when the new yard was finished for the bilevel train sets.
